Font Lay

Synopsis:

You play as a private investigator, trying to find the two missing teens, in a small, seemingly unknown, town of Font Lay, Canada, located right next to the ocean, in the beautiful region of British Columbia.

The year is 2000, and you think that this will be a job like any other, but, things take a turn from the very start. From strange people, to strange rules, stepping into Font Lay feels like stepping into a whole different world; one where the natural laws don’t really exist, and supernatural things are running rampant. If one is to be inclined to believe in such things, that is.

Uncover secrets, figure out what happened to the teens, and of course, do try to stay alive. Or don’t. Death is a finicky thing, in this strange town.

And lastly, we wish you a happy stay at Font Lay!

Romance Options:

Arnold Svonson, Lumberjack, 39 years old

He lives in the woods around the Font Lay, and has seen his fair share of insane things there. 

He’s been there for his whole life, and his family is one of the original families of Font Lay; the founders, so to speak. 

He is 6’6”, or 198 cm. He is buffed, and has light brown complexion. His hair is cut very short, and has a small beard, that he keeps trimmed like that.                                                   

He is the last living member of his once big family. He is serious, but has a good heart, and wants to help people as much as he can. But, following that goal, he may seem rude, and even offensive at times, but, all of that comes from a place of hurt and good intentions.                                                                                                                                                               

 He, usually, wears flannels, with jeans and thick, leather boots. His eyes are dark brown.

Shelly Brown, Tour guide, 34 years old

She is living in one of the many flats in Font Lay, and has lived there for most of her life. Her family went there due to their economical state, and Font Lay was one of the cheapest places to exist; and it still is. For a reason.                                                                             

She is used to strange things, and have adapted to them quite well; that’s why she can lead very nice and fun tours around the place, trying to lighten the view of the place. She is chirpy, and a bright soul, though, that comes from the fact that she needs to be like that; otherwise, she’d probably end up in a very bad place.                                               

She has an older sister in Oregon. Aside from here, she has no one else.                           

She has pale complexion, and back length, straight, chestnut coloured hair. She doesn’t really have a set style, and so, her clothes may vary. She is 5’5” or 165 cm. She is slim in build. Her eyes are hazel.

A White, Detective, 33 years old, m/f

A detective from Toronto; government branch, unlike the MC. They have been sent to investigate the town, and why there is no police there, other than the sheriff, and why is it, seemingly, considered a country of its own. Basically, to see what is going on, and report back.                                                                                                                                                             

She is 5’4” or 162 cm, and is of athletic build.                                                                                     

He is 6’0” or 183 cm, and is of athletic build.                                                                                   

Their usual attire is suits; keeping it business like. They are focused, and in terms of personality, similar to the Lumberjack, and the only difference would be that A is a bit more relaxed. They are not as guarded as Lumberjack is.                                                           

Her hair is just below the shoulders, wavy and black. Her eyes are blue.                           

His hair is medium length and wavy. His eyes are blue.
